Heath brings 35 years of design expertise to the S2A Team, blending creativity with extensive design detail and precision. He spent the first 15 years of his career in modular design at Terrace Homes in Central Wisconsin, where he originally teamed up with Lance Lowrey and Brian Southworth. While overseeing the Design Department for his last 10 years at Terrace, he managed a full workload of extremely detailed “shop” drawings, which forever engrained the integration of structural and mechanical early and continuing throughout the entire design process.
In 2005 Heath took a leap of faith when he started his own residential design business in Madison, Wisconsin, despite having very few contacts in the area. He gained confidence and traction early-on as builders and clients jumped aboard, and that momentum snowballed for the next 20 years. His business was based upon an unwavering reliance on the traits instilled by his parents: faith, honesty, integrity and old-fashioned hard work! By refusing expectations of “yesterday and cheapest” he operated on the belief that a properly designed home requires a diligent process that cannot be synonymous with “ASAP.” Heath’s business (named after his three children) provided highly creative and detail-rich home designs with advanced 3D visualization that brought his client’s ideas to life.
In the summer of 2025, while experiencing the natural fatigue of being an owner/operator, Heath received a perfectly timed call from Lance inviting him to “get the band back together” at S2A. That initiated his return to the modular world where it all began. After meeting the entire team in person at EC-2, he was extremely inspired by their collective talent and remarkable ability to put ego aside for the greater good of the team, where he now adds his unwavering commitment to quality design.
Outside of work sports, boating, skiing and fishing remain his greatest loves. Any time on the water is heaven. Heath also has three amazing children: Matthew, a financial advisor, has two beautiful daughters with his lovely wife Amanda; Samantha, a recent graduate of Villanova School of Law, is a lawyer at a prestigious firm in Philadelphia, PA; and Madison, who mixes social work and working for her father with raising her exceptional daughter and son alongside her wonderful husband Avery.
