S²A Modular Named a Top Ten Company in Prestigious International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

S²A Modular is breaking the mold of traditional site-built homes, designing revolutionary properties that will change the entire paradigm of the residential and commercial real estate industry. As creators of the #GreenLuxHome – the first electrically self-sustaining, green luxury homes – S²A is already making a name for itself on an international level.

S²A Modular allows home buyers to dream up a bigger, better lifestyle – either choosing from more than 35 pre-designed, high-end floorplans or literally creating a living space that was never thought possible before. In less than six short weeks after choosing designs and receiving approved plans, homes are built in their entirety with a visually identical foundation to a “traditional structure.”

As the company begins to break ground on its first MegaFactory in 2019, where countless homes and commercial properties will be constructed, S²A’s innovative home designs are already competing on an international stage. Founders John Rowland and Brian Kuzdas had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition, which recognizes some of the most innovative corporations to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship resources and help companies connect with Chinese hi-tech industrial resources. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition held its first round in California with 250 different companies in participation. S²A competed among other contestants for a chance to win a grand prize of ¥1.4 million, high-quality entrepreneurship projects, with support such as industrial incentives, financial technology and project incubation.

Out of 250 contestants, S²A Modular came in 7th of the top ten finalists in the first round of judging, requiring Sunnie Li, S²A Modular’s director of business development, to travel to Shenzen, China for the final round of pitching investors in person.  Representing S²A onsite at the competition, Sunnie used her expertise in marketing, acquisitions, operations, sales and raising capital as she met with 40 different venture capital organizations participating in the competition

Sunnie showcased how S²A is truly setting the standard in stylish design, construction speed, tailor-made features with high-end materials, “surplus energy income” and smart-connected living. When judging was complete, S²A was named 7th out of 20 overall participants and 250 corporations pitched, proving that co-founders John and Brian’s revolutionary modular home concept is unparalleled in the industry and worthy of international recognition.
